Trading is not an exact science
This was a very quiet week in the markets in general due largely to the US Bank holiday, so really it was a case of just waiting on the sidelines.
It can definitely be difficult to wait for decent trade setups and it is often tempting to take less than perfect trades. The benefit of waiting though is that once in the trade you have more confidence in sticking with the trade for a decent sized move.
With the final of the World Cup later today there's a good chance for both teams to win and most watching will choose to support one side or the other – and not change sides half-way through the game depending on who is winning! Staying in a trade is a bit like this sometimes, resolution is needed to stick to the plan, and with the overriding trend.
